I had the absolute pleasure of joining a boat excursion in the stunning Gulf of Poets in Italy with Tuscany & 5 Terre, and it was truly one of the highlights of my entire trip. The experience on board was just as wonderful. We were treated to delicious, freshly prepared food that perfectly captured the flavors of the region, accompanied by glasses of crisp, refreshing prosecco.The best part? Jumping into the crystal-clear water for a swim. The sea was calm, cool, and incredibly clean — it felt like diving into pure paradise. We recently had the incredible opportunity to visit the famous marble quarries of Carrara, and it was truly one of the most fascinating experiences of my travels in Italy! The scenery alone is breathtaking — towering white mountains of marble that seem to glow in the sunlight, with panoramic views of the Tuscan coast in the distance. The expert guides of Tuscany & 5 Terre were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and passionate about the history and craft behind these legendary quarries. The highlight? Tasting the famous lardo di Colonnata right where it’s made — rich, delicate, and unforgettable. A perfect mix of nature, history, and local flavors. Highly recommended!
